Liss Pharmacy was established more than 75 years ago as an integral part of the Newark, New Jersey community. In 1974, the Parisi family continued the tradition of maintaining a family owned and operated full-service independent pharmacy that gives back to the community. Liss is the center for pharmacy and health services in Newark and continues to build upon the communal partnership between pharmacists and people, greeting patients by name and providing the highest quality in individual care and personal service.

Our team of dedicated and bilingual pharmacists are always available to answer questions on medications and healthcare through consultations. We accept most insurance plans including Medicare part D. Liss Pharmacy is also fully accredited by ABCOPP to sell and rent Durable Medical Epuipment and to bill through Medicare and Medicaid as well as all other HMOs for other prescription services. Our professional staff is dedicated to providing prompt and courteous service only available at an independent pharmacy.

Liss Pharmacy was named one of only five recipients of the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Pharmacy of the Year award in 2011, chosen from more than 3700 independent operators nationwide.
